Ecolodge

Read about our Sustainable Lodge Interactive Stay concept, including how our guests participate in water and energy conservation by taking short showers, being mindful of electricity, and participating in our Eco Challenge.

Eco Rooms

Our eco rooms are small cabins built for two and lovingly prepared for your comfort during your stay in Chepu.

Eco rooms are completely surrounded by nature, 20 or 25 sq. meters, and feature a private terrace, private bath with hot showers, an electric space heater, electric bed warmer, and comfortable beds. They are well-insulated so that you can enjoy the Chiloe weather in comfort. And, when the weather is good, you can enjoy the breathtaking view over the Chepu River Valley & River Puntra from your terrace!

Make your reservation! Only 4 eco-rooms available. All with 180 thread white sheets, white towels and amenities.

Dorms

Our dorms are two basic shelters with bunk beds shared by 4 people that we only make available to visitors who want to participate in our Kayak at Dawn activity. Check with us for availability — reservations required!

Dorms have only a bed & mattress: you must bring your own sleeping bag. We do not provide bed linen, blankets, or towels. There is an outside shared bathroom with solar hot showers (limited to 3 minutes to conserve water). No kitchen: bring your own ready-to-eat food or reserve meals with us. See prices below.

Camping

We have 6 camp sites available for our more outdoor inclined guests. The camp site has a shared bathroom where the showers run with solar heated water, so be kind and don't take up all the hot water (3 minute showers, please).

Please note that bus service to Chepu is only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays — see our directions page for details.

Our Cuisine

Our home-cooked cuisine uses local products and organic vegetables grown by our neighbors. Fruit juice, soft drinks, beer, and a variety of Chilean wines are available.

In addition, traditional Chilotan meals (such as seafood curanto lunches) prepared in the traditional manner by our neighbors may be available with sufficient advance reservation.

Breakfast includes cereal, fruit juice, different types of bread, butter, home-made cheese, and organic honey & marmalades - products from Chepu area; we also provide tea, real coffee or chocolate.

Important Information

Before booking, please read our Cancellation Policy.

Guests are asked to conserve water and energy by staying within their Eco Limits for water and electricity while staying with us. This means taking short showers, minimizing toilet flushes, and being mindful of the use of electricity. Come take our Eco Challenge and learn about minimizing your environmental footprint!

Due to our location by the river, we do not allow babies or children under the age of 14. Minors aged 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent.

In order to protect the pudus, river otters, and coipus that sometimes share our property, we do not allow pets.
