HOW TO GET TO ECOLODGE CHEPU ADVENTURES


We are located at Camino a Chepu Km. 13,2 -(this is 38.5 Kms. SW of Ancud).

LOOK FOR OUR SIGN (up on the left ) AT OUR ENTRANCE - IF YOU PASS ANGUAY BRIDGE, YOU HAVE TO COME BACK APP. 400 MTS.

By car
Coming on Route 5 South from Ancud or Castro look for sign of road to Chepu at Km. 25 to the west, right next to Restaurant El Transportista, and take gravel road to Chepu, app. for 13.2 kms.
First part of this road is straight and at the end you have to turn left (Coipomó). Keep on this road until you reach
Chepu Adventures, at Km. 13,2.- Entrance is on the left side of the road.
   You will see our wind generator on same side but app.100 mts. ahead.
From Ancud to Chepu it takes app. 45 minutes.

By Rural Bus
Ancud - Chepu - Ancud : only Monday – Wednesday & Friday.
At 6:30 a.m. from the corner of Arturo Prat & Goycolea Streets, at Gas Service Station.
At 4:00 p.m. from Rural Bus Terminal on 3rd. floor of Bigger Supermarket.
This bus runs in front of Chepu Adventures, so just request the driver to stop at our place.

By Taxi
Taxis from Ancud charge app. $12.000 - 15.000.- to take you to Chepu.




 
HOW TO GET TO CHILOE ISLAND


Chiloe Island is located 1016 km. from Santiago and 90 km. southeast of Puerto Montt. To reach the island, you need to travel southeast from Puerto Montt towards Pargua, where you have to take the ferry across the Canal de Chacao. Ferries take buses and cars over on a regular basis, between 6:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

By Plane
The fastest way to get to Puerto Montt and then Chiloe is by airplane. The non-stop flight between Santiago and Puerto Montt lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and there are at least four flights per day.

By Bus
It takes 14 hours to travel between Santiago and Ancud by bus. Ancud is the northest large city in Chiloe.   A good level of service and comfort can be found on buses which provide semi-bed and bed seats.

By Car
Santiago to Puerto Montt by car takes approximately 13 hours, taking Route 5 south to Puerto Montt, then head southwest toward Chiloé/Pargua . At Pargua, visitors board the ferry which crosses Canal de Chacao to Chiloé. The ferry ride lasts approximately 25 minutes.  You get off the ferry at Chacao and continue on Route 5 South to Ancud.

From Puerto Montt to Ancud it takes app. 2 hours.
